Wee Lassie, flat sawn strips
The first 5 rows of strips on this boat are flat-sawn, giving a flame stripe. Cloth and the first coat of epoxy is on, next the fill coats.

Wee Lassie forms setup
I've been asked to make two Wee Lassie canoes, one of which will be a Wee Lassie II.  The strips have all been cut, and today I set up the strongback and forms for the smaller Wee Lassie. I think I'll overlap the builds, to cut down on waiting times. Dust control will be an issue though, so will take a bit of planning.
