Love living on the BC coast....
It is so great to be able to row year-round! I was out last week and tried out the little camera that I ordered from China. I'll have to play around with the setting and the mount, but it's cool to be able to share the view from the boat. The creaking sound you hear is the seat rack rubbing against the hull. I'll have to put some felt pads down to quiet it. Like the sound of the water past the hull though.
Rowing Fine at Coopers Green Park
This picture is courtesy of my friend Don Kernan, we were out in front of Coopers Green Regional Park Tuesday, quite windy, and a nice swell to surf down. The boat handled well, and I believe was a lot easier to row into the wind than Don's Cosine Wherry.
"Maggie" a cosine wherry rowing tandem, has won the great river race on the Thames again in 2013 to follow it's overall victory in 2010, and near victory in 2009. Read about it here.
